Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND needs.

Assist in managing challenging behaviour in line with school policies and strategies.

Develop trusting relationships with students, helping them to engage in their learning and achieve their full potential.

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans.

Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience working with children who have SEND needs or in a similar role (e.g. behavioural support).

A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people who can display challenging behaviours.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.

A flexible and proactive attitude, with the willingness to adapt to changing situations.

Passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and succeed in their education.
