The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to lead and inspire a team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Reading. As a key player in our Engineering sector, you'll oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include the following:
* Supervising and coordinating the activities of the electrical team on various projects.
* Ensuring all electrical work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
* Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain quality control and safety standards.
* Assisting in the planning and scheduling of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
* Troubleshooting complex electrical issues and providing technical guidance to the team.
* Training and mentoring junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Collaborating with project managers and other supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Preparing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work.
Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who has the following skills and qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving license.
* SSSTS or SMSTS
The Offer:
