Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Fitter

Perform planned preventative maintenance across various buildings on the site.
Attend to machinery breakdowns.
Carry out overhauls on equipment.
Implement remedial corrective actions.
Work to improve plant reliability.
Maintain and repair equipment at a wastewater treatment facility.
Manage changes and maintenance on pumps, boilers, and other related machinery.Essential requirements of Mechanical Fitter

Proven experience working on process equipment i.e tanks, silos, boilers etc (repairing, removing, or assembling)
Hands on
Mechanical Qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ)
Experience of working and maintaining with a wide variety of process machinery including Screw Conveyors, Belt Conveyors, Bearings and Couplings, Alignment, Pumps, Gearboxes, Chain drivesWhat they Offer:
