About the role

My client is a leading international infrastructure group and they are looking for a Contract Operations Manager to join their Living Places team on the Lincolnshire County Council Contract.

The Contracts Operations Manager will be accountable for the end to end delivery of over £70m revenue related operations, ensuring that the service is resourced appropriately to meet the contractual requirements and budgeted expectations. Ensuring the Planning and Delivery of all Capital, Reactive and Cyclical operations in line with budget expectations and our required Right First Time quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Contract Operations Manager, you have the following accountabilities:

* Ensuring an Annual Programme is created and managed to represent all client expenditure and work schedule for the year

* Delivery of works aligned to the required timescales and quality standards

* Ensuring that the service is adequately resourced at all times to meet workload demand

* Management and reporting of service delivery performance internally and externally

* Contribute to the setting of budgets and forecasts to ensure consistent, challenging but deliverable approach adopted

* Understand, anticipate and deliver client requirements in terms of budget allocation, service spend and providing value for money

* Work with Principal Operations Managers to develop staff and support talent which supports a framework for performance management, succession planning and the development of people within the team.

* Appropriate Civil and Highways experience and technical qualification degree of similar.

* Highly motivated to deliver customer satisfaction

* Demonstrate leadership skills that will inspire the team to succeed

* Demonstrate an ability to successfully lead an operational team

* Experience in the efficient and effective management of resources

* Commercial Awareness

* Good interpersonal skills; communication, can provide clear direction
