Coleman James Recruitment are working with our client in search of Rail Surveyor's to work for an established Surveying business on a permanent, full time basis.

The role:

* Carry out topographical surveys.

* Control network establishment.

* Carry out tunnel surveys.

* Carry out gauging surveys.

* Office processing.

The successful candidate will have:

• 5 years surveying experience (at least 3 of which will be relevant to the railway sector.)

• A good knowledge of the latest survey technology including:

• Robotic Total Stations & GPS receivers (Leica)

• Amberg GRP 1000 & 3000 experience (preferred, although not vital)

• Railway Gauging equipment of varying specification

• AutoCAD

• LSS knowledge (preferred, but not essential)

The area of works will be throughout Scotland, so a willingness to travel is essential.

Normal working hours are Monday-Friday although due to the nature of the business weekend work may be required with overtime being paid over and above salary.

Vehicle, fuel card, mobile and laptop will be provided, along with a annual bonus
