Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA

Location: SW London (Clapham)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £95-£100 per day (experience depending)

TeacherActive are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA to join a school in Clapham, South West London. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA will work closely with teachers to provide support and assistance to students across a range of subjects and activities.

Are you passionate about providing support to students with special educational needs, ensuring that their individual needs are met?
Do you have a patient and flexible approach to work?
Have you got experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting?
Responsibilities:

Work with teachers to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to small groups or individual students
Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
Help to maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
Support teachers with administrative tasks such as record keeping and classroom organisation
Attend meetings with teachers and other professionals as required
Support students during break and lunch times
Requirements:

A good understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to support teaching and learning in a range of subjects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers and parents
A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children
A willingness to undertake training and development as required
