Laboratory Technician

I am working on behalf of my client to recruit a Laboratory Technician into their site in the Greater Manchester area. As Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for assisting the development of products within the polymers industry: coatings, inks, pigments. You will also be responsible for conducting tests on materials and end products.

To be considered for this Laboratory Technician position you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a relevant field – focus on Polymer Chemistry would be preferred. You will also have previous experience within laboratory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the formulation of new and existing products.
Conduct tests on materials and analyse data.
Oversee QC in the laboratory.
Work alongside customers to provide solutions to any issues.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

Experience/Background:

Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.
Experience in laboratory environments.
Previous experience working within the polymers industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of regulations and safety measures.
