Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual; to join our vibrant specialist Company. The successful candidate will have a mininmum of two years experienec of working within a HR Role.

Our preferred working location would be at our Head Office; based in the Preston area, however the opportunity to work in one of our two other offices; Bristol, or Louth would be available; depending on experience and qualifications.

Role purpose:

To provide comprehensive support with the HR division and create positive and effective relationships with site employees, internal work colleagues and the management team.

Responsibilities:

* First point of contact for HR queries within the company (With the support of our outside HR Advisory service)

* Managing employee records electronically and keeping the team up to date with important changes, IDPs/Passports/Visas

* Issuing offer letters and monitoring contract renewals

* Supporting the induction process by completing the relevant paperwork with all new starters and assisting with other areas of the induction

* Supporting and guiding the team on data protection of sharing personal and sensitive data (GDPR)

* Monitoring and the completion of probationary reviews

* Managing the exit process and completing relevant paperwork

* Work closely with our Family Liaison Officer

* Assist with yearly Personal Development Reviews (PDR’s)

* Support and promote employee engagement

* Absence management through completing return to work interviews

* Update and review policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook

* Managing and conducting investigation and disciplinary meeting

* General administration

* Create and implement HR documents for new procedures

* Keep up to date with the latest legislation and advising the company how to comply

* Any other duties as required to meet business needs

Essential Skills

* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

* Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills

* Ability to communicate at all levels of the business

* Google Docs skills

* Ability to maintain discretion in confidential matters

Desirable Skills:

* Previous HR generalist experience

* Understanding of HR practices and employment law

* CIPD qualified
