We are working closely with our client to source an experienced QHSE coordinator in the Somerset area. Our client is an established engineering business that designs and manufactures on site. Quality is key for them, and they pride themselves on delivering to the highest of standards.

As QHSE Co-ordinator you will be responsible for promoting safety first across the business as a whole, finding opportunities to make improvements.

Key Responsibilities as QHSE Co-ordinator

Reporting on compliance and process regarding Health and Safety across the business
Conduct regular Health and Safety checks and assessments.
Roll out training programs to all staff.
Maintain and update all records and documents relating to Health and Safety
Look into and report on incidents and accidents within the workplace.Experience as QHSE Co-ordinator

Previous experience in a similar position – ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
IOSH certificate or equivalent
A strong understanding of SHE regulations and standards
A high standard of communication, both verbal and written

Competitive basic salary £27 - £31k DOE
26 days holiday plus bank holidays
Discretionary bonus
38-hour week Mon -Fri
