Our Client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.

Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper authorisation and documentation.
Review and verify invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Prepare and process payments to vendors via cheque or BACS.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and documentation.
Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Qualifications:

1 year of experience in accounts payable or related role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
