We are recruiting a HR Generalist to join our experienced HR team at our Fivemiletown Head Office. The position is fixed term for 12 months to support the team with a number of key projects. Hours of work can be discussed upon application.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage ER activity across the Group by tracking and actioning all ER queries and supporting line managers in handling them.

2. Take responsibility for updating company policies, legislation changes and procedures in line with business objectives.

3. Communicate changes across the Group.

4. Attend relevant industry events with the aim of keeping well-informed of legislative changes effective the workforce.

5. Work with the L&D Specialist to create appropriate appraisal plans in line with reward and retention tactics;

6. Work with the HR Manager and Talent Acquisition specialist on pay grading.

7. Work to coordinate the identification and execution of talent succession plans across the business

8. Support Learning and Development activities as and when required.

9. Administrative activities surrounding objectives, deliverables, and metrics, of ongoing performance review.

10. Participate in the recruitment selection process (where required) under the guidance of the talent acquisition specialist.

11. Offer support to the Talent Acquisition Specialist during times of peak activity, for example attending interviews, or offering feedback.

12. Monitor spend against the yearly budget, in particular for the employee relations strategy.

This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.

Requirements

Essential

* Experience of delivering effective Human Resources programmes in a similar role.

* CIPD L3 or above or working towards it.

* Excellent knowledge of employment law and its application within the workplace

* Strategy and change management experience

* Use of Microsoft suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Desirable

* Experience of working in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial business.

* Experience with delivering Employee Relations strategies

* Educated to a third level, in a Human Resources related discipline

* Ability to travel to the UK no more than a few times per year
