ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client specialise in manufacturing high-tolerance precision components for industries such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Rail, and Medical.
They offera comprehensive range of machining services tailored to meet your specific needs to provide a complete service.
Their specialisation includes: CNC milling CNC turning EDM machining(wire and spark erosion) Gear cutting (broaching, slotting, and thread milling) Cylindrical and surface grinding.
CMM inspecition.
Hardness and NDT inspection JOB SCOPE: As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Rail, Medical, and Defence industries.
A good-level candidate will have a good understanding of subcontract machining services, and preferrably have a background within CNC machining.
You will manage your own diary, maximising existing accounts spend and bringing in new business and generating leads.
Our client are looking for the right person to develop new business across the United Kingdom and overseas.
CORE WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (08:00AM until 16:30PM) and Friday (08:00 AM until 14:30PM).
COMMISION STRUCTURE: 1.5%
- 5%commision structure on all new business generated.
(To be discussed at interview stage, dependent on experience).
PERSON REQUIREMENTS: A background within CNC machining or precision engineering is desirable.
A good amount of experience within business-to-business sales within a subcontract machining environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers at all levels.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
