Perform routine and advanced spectroscopy analysis (e.g., UV-Vis, IR, NMR, MS) to support the development and testing of chemical products.
Analyze and interpret spectral data to ensure the quality, purity, and identity of chemical substances.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to spectroscopic instrumentation and data interpretation.
Document experimental procedures, results, and deviations in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and relevant regulatory standards.
Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards while conducting spectroscopy analysis.
Train junior team members on spectroscopy techniques and data analysis, ensuring consistent and accurate use of equipment and methods.

5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes, grades A-C, including Mathematics and English Language
~ Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline or equivalent experience
~ Demonstrated hands on experience in one or more of the following MS techniques in an industrial or academic environment; Experience of structure elucidation and quantitative analysis using MS
