Warehouse Manager – Central Belt, Scotland

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a successful distribution company based in the Central Belt of Scotland . This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Oversee stock control and inventory management to maintain accuracy and availability.
• Implement and monitor health & safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time and in line with company standards.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimise workflows.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and report on operational performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
