About the Deputy Service Manager role:

Job purpose:  To support the management, development and delivery of the service/services working closely with the Service Manager.  To support the service manager to ensure that the service/services are delivered in line with the Royal Voluntary Service mission, service plan and service level agreements in order to achieve key performance targets.

Hours:  12 per week

What you'll bring as our Deputy Service Manager:

Education:  Good level of education to GCSE or beyond (desirable). Willingness to undertake training and continuing professional development.  

Experience:  Experience of working within a community care environment.  Cash handling experience. Experience in health, safety and food standards and planning and delivering social activities. Experience of working with volunteers and/or volunteer-led support groups (desirable)

Skills and Abilities:  Ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, etc) to a basic level.  Able to demonstrate a sound basic level of literacy and numeracy skills
