We need empathic, patient staff to provide person-centered support to individuals who are living here.

We want everyone who accesses our services to have the opportunity to live the best life possible. You will be supporting people to work towards outcomes, enabling them to maintain independence.

You will encourage and support people to engage in the local community, clubs, cinema, shows, days out, gym, pub lunches, shopping, and activities of personal choice, such as swimming, family activities, and day trips.

You will support a community within Wakefield itself, across several services where there are long-standing friendships, and you will support the maintenance of these relationships.

We will be closely working with new partnerships, exciting new prospects, and activities for the entire community to enjoy.


Carlton Close is a supported living project for 3 individuals with learning disabilities, 24 hours a day.

The property is a bungalow set in a quiet cul-de-sac. It has a large communal open plan dining space, is wheelchair accessible throughout, has a beautiful conservatory, and ensuites for all the bedrooms.


The property is in the market town of Hemsworth, with regular buses linking the town with Barnsley, Wakefield, and Doncaster.

We live within a short walking distance from a playing field, local amenities, and a busy marketplace which contains shops and a range of cafes, a library, and a local farm shop.


Other information

We will have a core background team on duty 24/7, so there are overnight shifts, and we will provide additional 1:1 support, ranging from personal care, housekeeping, and meals to days out and trips to the shops and activities.
