Your new company
Are you passionate about social housing and asset management? An exciting interim opportunity, with longer-term potential, has become available within a dynamic housing service team. You will join a team and social housing landlord who are on a transformational journey to improve how they plan and commission investments to council housing stock. The investment programme growth strategy aims to enhance existing homes whilst meeting landlord and regulatory consumer standards and obligations.


Your new role
In this role, you will support senior management in implementing the housing delivery programme objectives, focusing on council housing asset investment planning, regulator consumer standards, and best practices. You will join the team at a point where opportunities exist to establish new ways of working, systems and processes for efficient and effective asset management and investment planning. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the asset optimisation strategy, using best practices and creative approaches to deliver impactful and meaningful improvements in asset planning.


What you'll need to succeed

  1. Proven experience in asset management and investment planning.
  2. Skilled and experienced in management of stock condition surveys, including analysis of returned data, and making recommendations on arising priorities for ongoing property investment programme.
  3. Excellent relationship building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Experience of property component investment planning with excellent attention to detail.
  5. Knowledge of the social housing regulatory framework and housing landlord obligations.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be able to take advantage of an initial six-month contract role, working remotely and on a hybrid/flexible basis throughout. A daily rate is available, which is negotiable dependent on your level of specific experience and qualifications. Longer-term opportunities may also be available, dependent on your aspirations and progress across the initial six months in this role.
