The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsport and possess the following personal skills:

  • Excellent organisational and logistics skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel to different locations
  • Good team working and communication skills
  • Able to manage the planning and organisation of their own workload, including prioritisation

The Role Will Involve:

  • Preparation, installation, maintenance, and repair of company timing and GPS hardware in the workshop and at race circuits
  • Liaising with venues to ensure equipment and timing infrastructure are in good working order; arranging to install new or repair any items as necessary
  • Maintaining timing and GPS systems to the company's high standards, including calibration and certification of equipment
  • Liaising with the Operations Manager on the deployment of equipment at events
  • Supporting motorsport events, remotely or on-site as appropriate
  • Preparing and/or reviewing documentation for the use of technical equipment
  • Attending suitably approved courses

Essential Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a technical environment
  • Good analytical and fault-finding capability
  • Good practical skills, including soldering
  • Good IT and networking skills, including the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation

Working Time / Benefits:

The role is office-based at Tamworth, with off-site work at race circuits repairing and installing timing & GPS systems and supporting events within our customer base as required. Working times vary by agreement and will include some weekend work. When working off-site, hours vary depending on requirements.

Additional Information / Benefits:
