GB
Job Closing Date: 24/01/2025
THE ROLEAn apprenticeship at the BBC gives you the opportunity to kick-start your career in a job you'll love. We’re the industry leaders in early careers and are committed to your skills and talent development. As one of the world’s most creative and technologically advanced organisations for the last 100 years, an apprenticeship at the BBC means the opportunity to learn from the most respected and experienced professionals in the business.
Are you a natural organiser? Are you the person that family and friends turn to when a day out, get together or party needs arranging? Do you like the sound of sending film crews on location, helping to set up the studios where you record shows like TV’s The One Show or Radio’s Woman’s Hour or Live Lounge and help schedule the staff to work on these programmes? If you have a passion for working in the media industry but are unsure where to start, consider the Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship. This opportunity allows you to use your problem-solving skills to contribute to delivering world-class content to audiences worldwide.
You don’t need any experience of working in the media industry or a CV jammed full of academic qualifications. You might be about to finish school/college, start your first job or you may want to change career paths. Either way, as long as you’re over 18 when the apprenticeship starts, and have a passion for the work involved in production management, this could be your next step towards an exciting career at one of the most creative and best known broadcasting organisations in the world.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESWhat will you be doing on the apprenticeship?

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be asked to gather a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your learning, while working towards an level 4 apprenticeship qualification. This apprenticeship will give you a thorough knowledge and understanding of what it is like to work in Production Management and the media Industry, which you can then utilise during your time at the BBC and afterwards in the wider industry.
