OverviewWe are recruiting for a Property Loss Adjuster to join our team, based in Scotland. As a Property Loss Adjuster, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic property claims. From investigation to settlement, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring claims are handled fairly and with integrity. How you'll make an impactInvestigate, manage, and report on a wide range of property claims. Handle claims from start to finish, including liaising with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders. Assess policy cover, scope, and quantum, negotiate settlements, and pursue recoveries where necessary. Manage claims across various sectors, including Commercial & Domestic Property, Education, Heritage, Real Estate, and Public/Local Authorities.Ensure claims are handled fairly, professionally, and in line with company standards. Communicate effectively with senior management, team members, and principals to identify significant claims trends. Attend claims meetings, participate in audits, and travel as required. Comply with Gallagher Bassett’s procedures and deliver exceptional service. About YouProven experience in investigating and handling property claims. Expertise in cradle-to-grave claims handling. CILA and/or CII qualifications (advantageous but not essential). Strong understanding of construction, mitigation, and liability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in scheduling works and collaborating with insurers, policyholders, and builders. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers. Solid technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.#LI-PH1 Compensation and benefitsOn top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
