Overview

To effectively manage the delivery of commercially viable digital solutions, enabling the strong sustainable growth of Gallagher Communications. Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and internal teams to promote service delivery excellence. Assist in the development and improvement of Digital Team processes.


How you'll make an impact

Effective delivery of digital solutions

  • Manage project-based work including timescale and budget responsibility
  • Facilitate project meetings, internally and externally
  • Support in the delivery of responses to win new business (written and face to face)
  • Effectively manage project resource across a range of projects and delivery timescales
  • Contribute to all aspects of project management and support other roles and teams where there is a project need or skills gap
  • As required, perform the role of any lower role in the team to ensure project success

Relationships

 

  • Respond to and resolve client issues and escalate as required
  • Build and maintain effective internal relationships with other members of all teams across the business (including, Consulting, Creative and Operations)
  • Mitigate conflicts by proactively seeking outcomes that are acceptable to all stakeholders
  • Demonstrate influence and professionalism internally amongst colleagues, positively representing the business and its culture

Development of team capability

  • Enforce team processes to sustain service delivery quality and efficiency
  • Be a source of process expertise in delivering client solutions for the wider business
  • Encourage working within an environment where the team’s ideas are recognised and followed through

 Work planning

  • Provide reasoned estimates of time and resource needed for digital projects
  • Supervise project delivery to deliver within time, budget, and quality constraints
  • Guide other members of the team to help them make the right decisions when working within budgets and timescales
  • Work with the Operations team to oversee project allocation at a team and company level
  • Support in day-to-day task management and prioritisation for team members

 Other

  • Working outside of core office hours to accommodate clients as required
  • Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance, and Gallagher’s shared values; putting clients at the heart of our business

 

Plus, any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.


About You

 

Essential

  • Proven experience and competency in the field of digital project management
  • Awareness of relevant project management methodologies
  • Experience in administering Atlassian JIRA from project to ticket to teamAbility to oversee and manage multiple time-competing projects
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A confident quick learner and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality results

Desirable

  • Good understanding of US benefits and/or UK retirement savings
  • Experience in working with software application lifecycles
