During the placement, you will gain valuable insight into the running of a busy Contracts department and have responsibility for many projects. You will work closely with other members of the Contracts organisation locally, and as part of a wider UK and global Contracts team, whilst also working closely with the GE Aerospace Legal team.

During the placement you will assist the International Commercial Legal team in all matters that we work on, including high value aircraft engine sale and servicing agreements, licensing, commercial real estate, ESG, corporate governance, NDA’s, business advisory, research projects and disputes. You will have the opportunity to work on cross-border transactions, drafting contracts, networking with our Sales, Commercial and Product Line colleagues (from working team to senior executives).

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.
