We are building something special at Alpine.

We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.

At our state of the art facility in Oxfordshire we have a new opportunity within our Composite Design team as a Design Engineer.

Composite Design Engineer – The Role

Working in the Composite Design Group, the successful candidate will undertake the design of a variety composite components. These could either be structural (Chassis, Impact Structures, Wishbones, Wings, etc.) or non-structural (Bodywork, Floor, Ducts etc.). Responsibilities will include concept design and scheming components from initial Aero surface, defining patterns, moulds and specifying laminates. On large assemblies, this would involve working in a small project team, or sole charge for less complex part designs. Furthermore, duties will extend to the necessary component jigs and post-race event problem investigations/resolutions.

At all times our team members are supported/coached by more experienced senior designers to enhance career development. Appropriate training (GD&T, CPD, etc.) will be offered whilst on-going CATIA skills enhancement is provided by our on-site CAD coaches. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to gain direct experience of trackside operations via our weekend command centre volunteer rota.
