Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Canterbury and the surrounding areas

Salary: £40,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Mobile role- call out 1 in 6

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join my clients team in Canterbury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment within a static role. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where necessary
• Completing electrical installation work where required
• Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used

Requirements:

• Electrical maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial environment
• Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ or equivalent)
• 18th Edition
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
