Electrical Maintenance Engineer Key Duties:
- Provide exceptional electrical engineering support to the production team, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Execute planned maintenance duties with a proactive approach.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, maintain clear communication with relevant parties, and efficiently resolve issues.
- Install electrical machinery with precision.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, Industrial Control systems, and relay control circuits.
- Proficiently work with the latest PLC technology, performing modifications and fault finding.
- Interpret advanced electrical drawings.
- Work with various drives and HMI.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, logging all breakdowns and servicing work.
- Strong electrical knowledge – Essential.
- Experience with equipment such as: hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, flow wrappers, and robots
- Proficiency in PLCs – fault finding, basic programming, trouble shooting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field – Essential.
- 17th or 18th edition – Essential
- Must be able to work shifts days and nights
