My Client based in Washingtonare market leaders in the fabrication and production of metal components for a variety of performance critical industries. An opportunity has now arisen for a Wet Painter / Powder Coater to join their business on a temporary to permanent basis. A successful company with an extensive history in the North East, the client offer long term work which willgo permanent after an initial probation period. The successfulwet painter / powder coater candidate will be offered a basic hourly pay rate of £11.60 to £14.50 shift allowance paid for any back shift hours worked.
The Wet Painter / Powder CoaterRole:

Preparing required equipment such as spray booths and paint guns
Working on a variety of different sized components and ensuring that the paint finish is completed to a high standard and to the customers requirements
Be able to complete both powder coating and wet painting as required

The Ideal Candidate Wet Painter / Powder Coater will:

Have a relevant qualification
Have previous experience in a similar role
Be able to understand and work to engineering drawings
Be a team player whilst also being motivated and able to work on own initiative

The successful Wet Painter / Powder Coater candidate must be flexible to work a rotation shift pattern (dayshift 8am 5pm Mon to Thurs 8am 12pm on a Fri and backshift 12pm 10pm Mon to Thurs). A shift premium is paid for any hours worked after 5pm.
