We can offer hybrid working pattern, with time in our offices and your home, to enable a good work-life balance. We do require you to be on-site 60% of the time across the month (3 days per week on average) .
From 12 UK sites, our team of over 1,400 people deliver unique capabilities across air, land, sea, space and cyber for military, security and commercial customers, worldwide.
L3Harris in Bristol provides enduring, robust and cutting-edge Platform Management Systems (PMS) for both the UK Royal Navy sub-surface and surface fleets, notably current Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carriers, in-build Type 26 and Type 31 frigates this skill set also extends into cruise liners and super-yachts in the commercial marine market.

An integral part of the finance team, the Finance Business Partner will be embedded within the project teams as the conduit between the project, operations and finance team. Responsible for all areas of program finance including preparing, managing and directing the control of the budget for large and/or complex programs. Working alongside the project managers, you will perform tailored analysis and provide insight into project performance to aid decision making that ensures contracts achieve their required financial performance whilst maintaining strong financial governance.
Budgeting, forecasting and reporting of the project/programme portfolio, including revenue, operating income and cash
Monthly P&L review, providing financial insight and understanding of performance
Collaborating with the wider finance team to help forecast cash flow and other treasury requirements
Oversight and challenge of the project EACs to ensure the accuracy of revenue and profit recognition in accordance with accounting standards
Process improvement activities to enhance the financial support provided, seeking to develop and automate MI reporting
Assist the project team with the preparation for the monthly program reviews
Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial and/or project meetings as required
The role of Finance Business Partner requires the following experience and skills:
Have significant QBE experience in programme finance
Hold strong previous Finance Business Partnering experience
Be comfortable presenting to all levels within the business
Have advanced MS Office Suite skills including Excel Modelling
