We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Analytics to join the team. You'll work closely within the Data Team and with business leaders to deliver on our mission to become 'The trusted foundation of every home'. Location: Kings Cross, London or Portsmouth, Hampshire. Hybrid working applies - 3 days in the office.

Where do you fit in?

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, the Head of Analytics will lead the Analytics Engineering team, a key pillar of our Data & Analytics department. This role involves building Gold standard datasets to support business analytics, supporting and mentoring distributed analyst teams as well as engaging in complex, high-value analytics projects. You will play a pivotal role in democratising data across the organisation and ensuring that the data is supplied with timely, well-modelled data as well as insightful analytics.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within analytics or Data Engineering
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, ThoughtSpot) Expert in SQL and Python with knowledge of how to leverage dbt and Airflow Data modelling and governance expertise
  • Knowledge of how to run experimentation platforms and CoE Inspirational leadership styles with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in running an Analytics Centre of Excellence in a distributed analytics department
