The Restaurant Located in Mayfair, Gymkhana is inspired by the bars, social, sports and members’ clubs of the British Raj in India and serves contemporary Indian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients with a strong focus on the tandoori oven. Opened in 2013, Gymkhana went on to win its first Michelin star, and in 2024 the second Michelin star becoming the first Indian restaurant in London to ever hold a pair. Restaurant Magazine’s Restaurant of the Year and BMW Square Meal Restaurant of the Year in 2014. “Gymkhana is the best restaurant I have ever been to.” Giles Coren, The Times. This year, Gymkhana was awarded a second Michelin Star, having held one Michelin Star for the past ten years. The Position We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with a fine dining/Michelin Star background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be a hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front of house team, managing financials, recruitment and team development, stock management and health and safety.
