Horizon Teachers are currently working with a good' 2-form entry primary school based in Islington who are seeking a talented and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their for the rest of the academic year. The roles are suitable for both experienced teachers and exceptional ECTs. You would teaching in the early years department and the role would include the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher including PPA.
The school is rated "Good" by Ofsted, reflecting their commitment to providing a high-quality education for their students. They pride themselves on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes active learning. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience. Engage with parents and guardians, fostering strong home-school partnerships. Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly in key stage 1. A passion for education and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential. Knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching methods. Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
