Chelmsford Essex, United Kingdom Lifetime Training Ltd Full time
Whether you’re already a Trainer, Assessor or Coach, or thinking about becoming one, it’s time you made the change to Lifetime. What will you be doing? As a retail supervisor, store manager or area manager, you’ll know retail is a dynamic and fast-paced sector. Our high streets are changing, and ecommerce is booming. It’s also a sector that people tend to ‘fall into’. That may be your experience. You’ve worked your way up and you know this industry inside out. But now it’s time for a change: to escape the shop floor and weekend working. To pass on your skills and experience in a way that helps the next generation of talent to not only do a great job but build a career. And to do it in a way that also gives you a more flexible way of working, supported career development and the qualifications your experience deserves. Working with learners at their place of work, in most cases for big retail brands, you’ll deliver the apprenticeship standard. That includes providing the support, guidance and motivation that helps them to get career-building qualifications. You’ll also help them to achieve transferable skills (in Maths and English) if needed, managing your own admin along the way. What will you bring to the role? It’s most likely you’ve got good experience of working in retail at management or supervisor level. Qualifications aren’t as important as understanding and aptitude: we can help you transform your experience into the skills you need for coaching. In general, what we’re also looking for are: Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines Strong communication and self-motivation skills GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent). Experience of working autonomously If you already have a minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification and/or experience of operating within WBL/education environment, even better What is in it for you? In return for applying your skills and experience to drive real change across your industry, and as well as enjoying an exciting, life changing role, you will enjoy a package of benefits designed to reward your hard work and realise your professional potential: And to get you started, we also offer: Full training designed for you Structured support to achieve a teaching/assessor qualification Protected and comprehensive CPD time You’ll also work flexibly, from home and out in the field, giving you the opportunity to fully support learners while enjoying a good work/life balance. Giving back to you – our Group Benefits 25 days' holiday rising with service and your birthday off. Holiday purchase scheme for those life changing trips and moments. Long service reward and recognition Enhanced Pension Group Life Assurance – 3 x Annual salary Unlimited access to six Smart Health services including a 24/7 virtual GP Health Cash Plan Access to curated wellbeing content and our Employee Assistance Programme Perkbox To support your work/life balance we give you the opportunity of flexibility within our core working hours (9.00 – 5.30). Enhanced sick pay Enhanced Maternity/Shared Parental and Adoption packages leave A reward programme and recognition programme and annual awards event Who are Lifetime Training: We are one of the UK’s leading Apprenticeship providers, we help individuals and businesses realise their potential by delivering training that builds a better future for the industries in which we deliver.
