We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), focusing on supporting students with anxiety. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Specialism or significant experience in supporting students with SEMH needs, particularly anxiety
.• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
Provide tailored support to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with SEMH needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to help students manage anxiety and improve their well-being.
• Monitor and record student progress, adapting support plans as necessary.
This position stands out for its strong support system, including access to a comprehensive mentor programme for Teaching Assistants, fostering professional growth and development. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification.
