This is an exciting time to join the General Synod Office of the Scottish Episcopal Church. With the newly appointedSecretary General taking up post this summer, there is scope for the Chief Operating Officer, a newly createdpost, to make a significant contribution to the development and evolution of the General Synod Office(GSO).
About us: The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is the Province of the Anglican Communion in Scotland.The SEC is an open, thoughtful, and engaging church with over 270 congregations (or ‘charges’).
22, the GSO supports the governance and mission of the ScottishEpiscopal Church, providing advice and support to dioceses, charges, clergy and laity across Scotland. About you: The GSO is looking for an experienced leader and manager with a well-developedunderstanding of governance and compliance, able to manage a broad portfolio of work, who is committed toassisting the Scottish Episcopal Church in its mission and ministry. develop and maintain our digital channels

As the front face of the Bishop’s office, we are seeking the rightpersonality as well as someone with the necessary skills.

Based in the office at The Point the position will involve leading our operational staff and services toprovide great support for our ministries and projects.

We are seeking a Church Administrator to help us run our busy and vibrant church. Ideally you would have numericalproficiency, effective written communication skills and be a confident Excel/Google Sheets user. Experienceusing Facebook for Business and/or WordPress would be a plus.
You would be key to helping us manage our book-keeping,communication, and publicity. This role is part-time, and we anticipate it requiring 6-10 hours a week. The rolewould largely be fulfilled from your home, though Vestry meetings take place at church on weekday evenings.
