Role Overview: We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and committed individual to join a dedicated team as a Teacher of Maths. This role offers the rare opportunity to contribute to the creation and development of a brand new curriculum and course within the school, shaping the future of the students from the very early stages of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons, including GCSE level, demonstrating excellent teaching practice.
  • Maintain high expectations for students' achievement and behavior in all aspects of school life.
  • Forge and maintain positive working relationships with students and their families, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Demonstrate ambition for personal and school development, contributing to the continuous improvement of our educational provision.
  • Flexibility and willingness to participate in all aspects of school life, working across both phases of the school as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of excellent teaching, particularly in Maths, including experience teaching at GCSE level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics, or related field
  • Right to work in the UK
  • High expectations for student achievement and behavior, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Ambitious mindset, with a desire for personal and school development.
  • Willingness to work across both phases of the school.
