Corporate Tax Manager

Location : Liverpool, United Kingdom

About Us: As a leading firm in our industry, we support a diverse portfolio of clients with comprehensive financial solutions. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Liverpool.

Role Overview: The Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate tax compliance and strategy for our clients. This role involves managing a team of tax professionals, advising on tax planning opportunities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to client service.

Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the corporate tax compliance process for a diverse client base. Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients' business objectives. Provide expert advice on corporate tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and transfer pricing. Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations, and manage relationships with HMRC. Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation. Prepare and review complex tax returns and computations. Mentor and develop junior tax staff, providing guidance and support. Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients. Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients and the firm.

Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate tax role, preferably in a professional services firm. In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements. Proven experience in tax planning and advisory work. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
