Quantinuum are seeking to hire a Technical Product Manager to join our Cambridge-based cloud platform team. In this role you will serve as the bridge between the developers and the customers, working to understand the needs of our customers and helping to create a product that meets those needs.You’ll be involved in defining requirements, designing features, planning tests, and product review. You’ll be a key decision maker in shaping the product and will work with our global teams in the UK, US, and Japan.

The successful candidate will be an experienced product manager, with a background working with cloud platforms, Software as a Service (SaaS)or Platform as a Service (PaaS). You will need excellent communication skills, especially when working with colleagues across multiple disciplines and customer groups. You will be comfortable presenting the product to customer groups and have strong interpersonal skills to support managing customer relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to work closely with world-leading researchers and contribute to software which supports their scientific developments.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3+ years working in product management
  • Experience working with customers and turning their requests into useful features
  • Experience working on cloud, SaaS, or PaaS products
  • Experience using data to guide their decision-making process
  • An eagerness to work with teams across the business including legal and marketing.
  • Experience engaging with market research and using it to shape product strategy
  • An interest in long term product strategy
  • Strong technical background with a good understanding of micro-services and cloud-based architectures.
  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Science, or Engineering.
It would be desirable to have:
  • Experience with taking a new product to marketExperience as a software engineer or UI/UX designerExperience of HPC systemsInterest in Quantum Computing
