Join Our Team as a MEP Design Manager Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate MEP Design Manager to join our dynamic Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Plymouth. KierBAM is a collaborative Joint Venture between Kier and BAM Nuttall, currently spearheading a major redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a project that truly matters Location: Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth Hours: 42.5 hours per week Please Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role. Your Role and Responsibilities As our MEP Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the KierBAM JV Nuclear team. Your mission? To lead the coordination, development, and delivery of MEP design solutions for our construction projects. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Review M&E requirements from project briefs and specifications during the feasibility phase, identifying risks and opportunities. Manage M&E Consultants and Contractors to ensure all time, cost, quality, and safety requirements are met across the Devonport programme. Oversee the appointment and performance of M&E Consultants and Contractors, ensuring innovative and cost-effective solutions. Chair regular M&E forums with M&E staff and the supply chain to foster collaboration and innovation. What We’re Looking For This role is perfect for you if you have: Proven experience in an M&E role within a main contractor. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). A CSCS Manager Card and SMSTS certification.
