Specialist Learning Disability/Autism Nurse

Are you an experienced senior Learning Disability Nurse looking to move your career forward, in an organisation that will help you to develop and achieve your goals?
5 hours a week (Mon-Fri) where you will take the lead on quality, service users safety and pre-admission assessments and liaison with the case managers and care coordinators.
As an experienced Nurse from the NHS or private sector, you'll have a background in working in a similar environment, supporting people with learning and disabilities to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

You will also design and deliver supervision and training to junior members of the nursing team and students. Previous experience in a secure setting and rehabilitation would be highly desirable.

This role will be Monday - Friday 9-5
Join the multidisciplinary team at Wellesley Hospital providing care to men and women with mental health conditions in a modern and purpose-built hospital with low and medium secure environments.
The unit is one of NHS England’s pilot sites to test new approaches to delivering mental health care and works alongside local NHS trusts and private care providers in the South West.
Wellesley Hospital is conveniently located near Wellington, close to the M5 and commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Yeovil and surrounding areas.
