Our client, a well-established, multi-site Food Manufacturer, is looking for a Night Maintenance Engineer for their site based in Cornwall. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, responsibilities for the role will include:
# Working closely with the Technical and Operations teams to ensure all Engineering work is carried out in accordance with food safety best practice, and to highlight, resolve and/or advise on any food safety issues or concerns in which machinery, facilities or engineering practice is a factor
# Analysing and interpreting engineering day plans and information to make short and long-term Engineering plans
# Experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience
Level 3 engineering qualifications minimum, must have electrical qualifications (engineering, industrial, not domestic)
Manufacturing experience preferred
Must be happy to do fixed shifts over the weekend periods
Well-invested modern Food Manufacturing sites
Committed to producing quality foods and innovative solutions
Permanent night shift 18:30 – 06:45 working Saturday - Tuesday (week 1) Saturday - Monday (week 2) on a weekly rotational basis.
