Key External Relationships: Contractors/Service Engineers

To maintain all manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities in good working order. Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
Plan/prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time
Assist in the meeting of daily production plan.
Typical example of work would be to respond to maintenance request for equipment fault, diagnose fault, repair and return equipment to operational service. a process of dynamic risk assessments operated).
Assist in the moving, installation and repositioning of machines and equipment.

Health and Safety, Environment and Housekeeping
To work in compliance with the Health & Safety Policy to ensure hazards are identified and risk assessed and controlled.
Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to safety
To work in an efficient manner by performing duties in such a way as to not affect the environment negatively, waste materials unnecessarily, damage company property or effect the success of the team of which one is a member
To ensure any process change or improvement complies with all relevant health and safety policies
Written communication clear and informative with good spelling and grammar, numerical data concisely and accurately reported
To communicate change effectively, supporting effected individuals, monitoring transition and evaluating results
To work as part of the team in which they are a member, suggesting ways to continually improve in a creative and inspirational manner and to have a positive, example setting approach to all challenges.
Additional responsibilities / Personal performance
To ensure line performance is optimised.
To communicate all issues to team leader/shift Production Manager.
Services breakdown to notify Maintenance and Production Managers immediately.
Maintenance and Production Managers must be notified of any stoppages lasting one hour or more.
To consider behaviour of the team in relation to customer satisfaction and to ensure brand protection occurs.
Production is our primary customer.
