Role: 400kV Control Engineer

Location: East Riding, Yorkshire

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 12 Months Possible Extension

Rotation / Working Pattern: 7 Days on 7 Days off

Rates: £750 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Requirements:

  1. Must have Full UK Working Rights to be considered for this position
  2. Must have 400kV Control Engineer experience
Responsibilities:
  1. Working as the control engineer providing commissioning support and safety from the system under the Client's OSR's by carrying out remote switching during commissioning and initial windfarm operation.
  2. Covering control room duties are required.
  3. Monitoring the Windfarm SCADA systems and responding to alarms.
  4. Updating all systems with availability and capacities.
  5. Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
  6. Main point of contact for National Grid requests.

To be successful, candidate will need the below skills:

  • Full UK Working Rights
  • National grid experience (Preferable)
  • Commissioning experience (400kV)
  • Understanding of safety from the system
  • Detailed knowledge of boundary point conditions and the safety documentation procedures.
