Senior Data Engineer – Automotive Startup Python, AWS, Glue, Quicksight
Remote first, 1x a quarter in London office
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer build out data infrastructure from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on creating robust data solutions in a small, agile environment.

Their mission is to transform vehicle data into actionable insights that can predict and prevent breakdowns, working closely with breakdown clubs to enhance vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.

Design, build, and maintain a scalable data lake infrastructure using AWS tools.

Develop data pipelines from scratch to handle vehicle data efficiently.

Data Management: Organise data to prevent the current 'data swamp' situation, ensuring GDPR compliance and cost-effective data deletion processes.

Predictive Analytics Support: Collaborate with our data scientist to refine and optimise our predictive models.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with our infrastructure team, which handles cloud and Terraform aspects, to ensure seamless integration of data systems.

Extensive experience in data engineering, preferably with an AWS background.
Proficiency in Python, Kafka, and AWS services. Experience with data lakes, ETL processes, and tools such as Glue and Quicksight.
Flexible working patterns, but availability for quarterly meet-ups in London is required.
