Job Title: Maths Cover Supervisor
Location: Northamptonshire Type: Part-time or Full-time Salary: £140-£180 per day Join our team as a Maths Cover Supervisor and contribute to shaping the future of education in Northamptonshire We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for mathematics and a commitment to supporting students in their learning journey. This role offers flexibility, with options available for both part-time and full-time positions. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage mathematics classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.Deliver pre-planned maths lessons effectively, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Support students with their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills as needed.
Maintain a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Collaborate with teaching staff to provide continuity in students' learning experiences. Requirements: Previous experience working within a UK secondary school setting is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, with a strong preference for candidates with a mathematics-related degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated expertise in mathematics and a passion for teaching and learning.
Possession of a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate on the update service is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
