Sawmill Worker

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are working on behalf of their client who are actively looking for a Sawmill Worker. Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Hours of Work: 07h30 - 17h00 Monday to Friday (45 hrs per week) This role may lead to a permanent position after the qualifying period for the right person The role of a sawmill worker will include the below duties but the job description is not all-inclusive and other related duties may be asked: Operate and maintain equipment to cut logs into lumbers Monitor machinery to ensure working correctly and adjust as needed Stack and sort lumber according to specification requirements Carry out routine checks on equipment Maintain a clean and well organised work area Ideal candidate will have the following experience: 1 year of working within a sawmill (preferred) Previous experience working within a sawmill or similar manufacturing environment.
