Sales Manager - Cabletec Solutions

Express Talent (on behalf of our retained client) are is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with leadership ambitions, ready to take the next step in their career.

 

My Client is experiencing strong growth, particularly in its value-added manufacturing division, creating an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to take ownership of:

  • Driving growth within the company’s directly serviced customer accounts.
  • Leading and managing the inside sales team.
  • Collaborating with other sales divisions (UK, EMEA & US) to support expansion in their customer portfolios.
  • Working closely with the General Manager to enhance customer service and ensure best-in-class on-time delivery.

 

Looking ahead, the Divisional Sales Director plans to retire in early 2026 after years of dedicated service. During his final year, he will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a seamless transition, laying the groundwork for sustained growth and long-term success. At that time, it will be necessary to recruit further to bolster the team. The successful candidate will be central to shaping how the growing business is structured in the future.

 

Essential:

  • Strong track record in delivering against sales targets, both as a salesperson and managing others with sales targets.
  • Demonstrable success in previous roles.
  • Experience of selling solutions to technical / engineering customers
  • Minimum 5-years’ experience in sales / sales management
  • Has achieved progression
  • Leadership ambition
  • Technical Sales Background

Desirable:

  • 10-15 years’ experience in sales
  • Track record in aerospace and defence
  • Track record in high-performance electrical/electronic solutions
