Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton, UK
Salary: 40,000 per annum + Vehicle + Overtime
Type: Full-time, Permanent
About Us: We are a reputable M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) contractor based in Wolverhampton, specializing in providing innovative solutions for commercial and local authority projects. With a commitment to excellence and safety, we deliver high-quality services to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire detection, alarm, and security systems in commercial and local authority projects.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate project activities and meet deadlines.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer, with a strong background in installing and maintaining fire detection, alarm, and security systems.
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including BS 5839 and BS EN 50131.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
