Handback Engineer

Handback Engineer Doncaster Rate: £350 / day umbrella

weekend uplift Contract ASAP

We are currently looking for a Handback Engineer to work with our client who is a large rail company based in Doncaster. We are looking for an experienced and qualified engineer to help deliver our clients work program. Candidates must have good working knowledge and experience of track and conductor rail components and materials along with current rail standards, processes and documentation. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to work closely with colleagues and clients.

The role will require you to:

Carry out work safely and in accordance with the safe systems of work procedures, method statements, plans and other instructions. Manage and check the quality of work delivered and confirm assets are compliant to standards. Undertake and supervise technical tasks, survey and design work. Provide Site Schematics and specification to the project to scope and budget. Complete project paperwork for delivery and handback in a timely manner. Review relevant Work Package Plans. Take responsibility for the P/Way discipline and monitor quality of the new installations.

Skills and Experience needed:

Hand back/close out engineering experience S+C and plain line track work PTS Good understanding of railway track maintenance Handback and Stressing Tickets

level 4 required Track renewal experience desirable Tamping
