Work Hours: 40 hrs a week, Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:30)
Our client is an innovative biotechnology company based outside of the centre of Cambridge. They also support with AAV and Lipid-nanoparticle drug delivery projects. In a key phase of their growth, our client is looking to hire a Scientist into their product validation, development and optimisation teams on a full-time and permanent basis.
This is an opportunity for a Biological BSc / MSc holder who has experience in a biological laboratory in industry (or equivalent experience). As a Biology Scientist, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the MSAT teams with DNA / RNA and new product development projects.
Working on laboratory projects to support product validation, development and optimisation.
Using a range of molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, DNA and RNA handling, plasmid preparations etc).
QC testing on products.
BSc or MSc in Biology (essential – equivalent experience welcome)
Prior industry experience in a biological laboratory (essential - equivalent experience welcome).
