Job Purpose

As the Clinical SAS programmer you will contribute to the oversight of vendor programming activities and perform exploratory analyses of completed and ongoing MoonLake sponsored clinical trials to provide insight and to ensure high quality data, datasets and statistical outputs.

Key accountabilities:
  • Oversight and review of vendor programming activities, including review of CDSIC SDTM and ADaM datasets.
  • Understand and implement CDISC and other regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement an internal SAS programming framework
  • Perform exploratory analysis or validation of ongoing and completed Moonlake clinical trials
  • Support clinical operations and data management using programming checks and data visualisations on ongoing studies
  • Effective and close collaboration with the other members of the clinical team, including medical directors, clinical operations, biostatistics and data management
  • Provide effective communication and visualisation of data and statistical analyses within Moonlake and support for publications and presentations.
  • Ensure essential documents are filed allowing the reconstruction of each trial are generated, filed and maintained by or on behalf of MoonLake.
  • Maintain awareness of, and ensure compliance with, MoonLake policies and procedures relating to quality standards within the Company.

Your profile

Education: Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline
Experience: Substantial experience of clinical programming in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and experience of managing outsourced programming activities

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:
  • Experience of dermatology/rheumatology clinical trials would be an advantage
  • Robust knowledge of GCP and related regulatory standards for clinical data management governing clinical trials in the UK, EU & USA
  • Extensive SAS programming experience. Experience or interest in R is an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise work, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Independent, self-starter with a proactive, problem solving approach
  • Ability to see complex projects to completion, and to work on a broad range of tasks within a project
Work Location:
  • 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
  • You must have the permanent right to work in Portugal to be considered for this position
