Prepare technical reports for planning submissions and habitat management plans.
Stay informed about emerging trends in biodiversity conservation and planning policy.
Mentor and support junior staff in understanding biodiversity planning processes.
Degree in environmental science, ecology, planning, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in environmental planning, with a focus on biodiversity.
Strong understanding of biodiversity legislation and policies.
Proven experience in managing biodiversity net gain projects and using tools like the Statutory Metric.
Familiarity with ecological principles, habitat assessments, and species surveys.
Experience working with government bodies and local authorities.
Proficiency in planning software like GIS and ecological modeling tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
